LUH – Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany, is co-coordinating the ZOE project and leading WP1. At the LUH, the Digital Landscape Ecology Lab will apply remotes sensing based analyses to identify landuse and landcover changes in the case study regions. The Geobotany Department at LUH will contribute to the case study work and map vegetation to complement the GIS fine-grained analyses to obtain an overall biodiversity measure at each sampling site.
